Don't get me wrong the trip has been great, in fact it was better that that high Jesse from Breaking Bad got from that Meth they cooked with Heisenberg. I have never felt such a rush in my life, the 18 hour flight across the Atlantic, and Chicago in the summer hehe believe me it was sweet. Coming back home to all the accolades and my school putting me on the papers and all was beyond this world but above all the lessons I got from interacting with my peers as well as the professors at NYU was amazing!
Throughout this year, the people I have met, the lessons I have learnt and the milestones I have achieved I only realised one thing. This life is like a book. Written years ago by a very witty and quintessential author. Believe me my history was not that great, I was a smart but vey troubled child. I had issues from here to Milwaukee! That coupled with the fact that I lost my left eye at 12 made me a venom in my teens.
My early years in college bore no fruit, infact my lecturers would tell you they never knew me. They found out about me in my second year of school.
Right now I co-own one of Kenya's fastest rising Media production outlets providing opportunities for gifted young people in the industry to express themselves and allowing for growth in the industry. I had never in my wildest dreams thought I would venture into business. I knew one thing though as a child. I would be somewhere in the media industry and at some point in my life I would be a trained lawyer.
Maybe not practice but definitely learn law and use it to better my business and as my sister Lupita once said, 'My dreams are very valid' after all who knows what my book has at the back end of the pages.
Growing up I have met some amazing women, I have always been told I am a charmer, for long I thought it was a bad thing because my charming self could not get the girls I wanted. I was, from high school very picky about who I would date, I guess I never used my mirror much because hey, who says you can pick Diana and expect her not to be picky when checking you out? I never thought of that. My big brother though, this guy has always been my role model, in all things, like how he treats his wife ladies you would wanna steal him from her I promise. Anyway so after a steamy high school romance with Cynthia, not her real name I moved on to the real world and met Mariana, Beautiful woman, passionate and sexy as hell. I the charmer got charmed like that witchy series that used to run on KTN, anyway so Olosky fell in love and was in love for two years. Sadly we ended it and run away to the city of champions. That was some genuine shit. Anyway fast forward, I met someone else but it was not the same so I shut that side down. I only partied had friends but loathed commitment. Its been two years now and just this year on realising that I had lived in this world for 25 years i decided to give it a go. Believe me its been hard. Thats when I realised the need to go back to my mirror and asses the situation. Yes Justin sings about mirrors in that beautiful song I was talking about. For you to find your mirror you must take glance and see what you see on the other side.
I woke up and realised that my mirror reflects a very hardworking side, bright with ideas and full of life. As I sit and watch this video one thing is clear to me. Reflection needs light and if the person you are looking for doesn't have that light, you will never see them. And this is where I dispute the notion that love is blind. I believe love is light. That's why you fall in love with your mirror. Right now I can all but almost say I see a light at the end of the tunnel. In this tunnel I have met some amazing women . I have interacted with smart , talented, innovative and passionate women since the beginning of the year, I am walking towards the light and I believe the face I will see at the end of the tunnel will be my mirror, my reflection, in everything I do and I know all I see is her.

Baby steps my foot, this is a great piece!
